Last weekend was beyond big, it was massive. It was a prime example of when things get out of hand. I would write more about it but I think I turned my brain to mush so here are some photos.

Friday night started off civil at the "Sleep is the cousin of death" exhibition opening at Per Square Metre

Photobucket

Fressssssssshhh

Photobucket

Saw some cool art, had a few free beers then headed to Kensington to so Robbie Glew who was in town for the weekend

Photobucket

Bumped into Cam and his kid. Robbie only knows one pose.

Photobucket

Then across town to Age's Halloween party. Pauly couldnt wait to get inside

Photobucket

Everyone was dressed up.....

Photobucket

....except me and Pauly. He didnt understand

Photobucket

Chopper Reid, Pauly and a random soldier

Photobucket

Shit got hectic. Alot of the time funnels are a bad idea

Photobucket

They can make you sick

Photobucket

Or they can make you put a bucket on your head and wave spatulas around. What is Pauly looking at?

Photobucket

Chopper loves G and T's

Photobucket

I took so many photos my camera went flat and its probably for the best. Things got ugly after that. I was up to see the sun rise, then set, then it was time to go home. Taxi, kebab, bed.
Needless to say I felt like shit for like three days after.

That wasnt the end though.....Monday night was Urthboy, Muph and Plutonic and DJ Bonez at the Hi Fi bar. I was still feeling pretty shit and just wanted to go to bed but there is no rest for the wicked. Wee Wee, Yours most unruly, Bigness.

Photobucket

I hear the Cops are big Urthboy fans

Photobucket

Urthboy and Co.

Photobucket

Edward Beer hands???

Photobucket

Time for bed. Thank the G.O.D for the Melbourne cup holiday.

Halloween Craze

Saturday night sees round two of the VRDL season

Due to popular demand Im putting up the photo's from last weekends Favela Rock.
Enjoy!

Pre drinks at the crib

Photobucket

I leant Briony some kicks because they dont let you into the club with thongs on. Who knew?

Photobucket

Looking fresh

Photobucket

A sign of things to come?

Photobucket

Time to head to the club. We roll out like Reservoir Dogs.

Photobucket

A good feed is always wise before a big night so we stopped off for some Matrix curry (so what if I cant rotate photos).

Photobucket

Briony was looking a little worse for ware

Photobucket

Hmmmm. Classy.

Photobucket

It was no surprise she headed home after this but not before stopping for a nap in Carlton Gardens. Dont worry though - my kicks were fine.
We went to Miss Libertines and were greeted by some good and bad news at the same time

Photobucket

It begins.......

Photobucket

Neither me nor Josh had any cash on us and there was a $20 eftpos minimum so most rounds looked like this

Photobucket

Down in one

Photobucket

Dancefloor lurking

Photobucket

Multi tasking

Photobucket

Soph D. from the Mayoress crew. Check their blog. Its heaps good.

Photobucket

The dance floor was packed

Photobucket

Josh was in fine form. He taught Michael Jackson everything he knows. Except for the stuff with the kids.....

Photobucket

After that tings go a little hazy. I was feeling a little under the weather so I decided to white ninja out of there.
Took some bad photos on the way home.....

Photobucket

Ah yes. Good times. I would have to say though, the highlight of the night would have to be on Sunday hearing the news that both Josh and Briony, at different times during the night, slept in Carlton Gardens. I take my hat off to you both.

Heads Up

Sunday, October 19, 2008

Man, being back in Melbourne is good and bad at the same time. While I was away I realised just how much shit is going on in M-Town at any given time but at the same time I cant wait to travel again. Here are a few photo's from an average weekend in the 'burn.

Friday night - Dumplings

Photobucket

Bexta has good taste. It may be hereditary. Probably not though - Ive met the parents.

Photobucket

Jockin my steez...people are just catching on

Photobucket

Saturday Night. Roller Derby and the X-ecutioners.

"Lets get ready to rumble....."

Photobucket

Shit is rough

Photobucket

Tam and her girl

Photobucket

Jake represents The Future

Photobucket

Down with the team

Photobucket

This photo is pretty rad

Photobucket

In the sin bin.....Again.

Photobucket

After the roller derby it was off across town to the Espy to catch up with these loose characters..........

Photobucket

.......and the X-Ecutioners

Photobucket

I did the white ninja before the show ended, caught a taxi across town, got the miracle cure (a souvlaki and a bottle of Gatorade) but still woke up hung over.

Sunday. Bryce's Birthday. I was feeling shitty but couldnt let a good man down. Plus BBQ's are awesome, the weather was fine, and there were lots of good people I hadnt seen in ages.

Photobucket

This is the kind of shit I missed. I was in pain on Monday morning but it was all worth it.

Here is anawesome track Cinematic Orchestra with Roots Manuva - All Things to all Men.
Thanks to my boy Pauly for showing me this one. Enjoy.

Im out like the rubbish on a Wednesday night.
