A good feed is always wise before a big night so we stopped off for some Matrix curry (so what if I cant rotate photos).

It was no surprise she headed home after this but not before stopping for a nap in Carlton Gardens. Dont worry though - my kicks were fine.
We went to Miss Libertines and were greeted by some good and bad news at the same time

Ah yes. Good times. I would have to say though, the highlight of the night would have to be on Sunday hearing the news that both Josh and Briony, at different times during the night, slept in Carlton Gardens. I take my hat off to you both.

Melbourne City Nights

Man, being back in Melbourne is good and bad at the same time. While I was away I realised just how much shit is going on in M-Town at any given time but at the same time I cant wait to travel again. Here are a few photo's from an average weekend in the 'burn.

I did the white ninja before the show ended, caught a taxi across town, got the miracle cure (a souvlaki and a bottle of Gatorade) but still woke up hung over.

Sunday. Bryce's Birthday. I was feeling shitty but couldnt let a good man down. Plus BBQ's are awesome, the weather was fine, and there were lots of good people I hadnt seen in ages.



This is the kind of shit I missed. I was in pain on Monday morning but it was all worth it.

Melbourne City Nights

Manaus

Loyal readers will know that my camera died on the boat ride between Belem and Manaus. Luckily in Manaus, as in most places, I met some cool people with cameras. Here are a couple of my favourites.

This isnt the boat I took from Belem to Manaus but is very similar; bottom deck for cargo, middle deck for sleeping, top deck for drinking.

Manaus

Where is my USB lead?

I had an awesome weekend, did heaps of stuff and took heaps of pictures but due to technical difficulties I wont be able to post those photo's till later in the week. Patience grasshopper.

In unrelated news Kanye West has announced an Australian tour with Nas in the first week of December. No doubt it will be teeny bopper central but the opportunity to see Nas playing all his hits is just too good to pass up. I cant wait. No doubt when he plays this track (or any of the other tracks from Illmatic) I will lose my shit.
