Long Weekend

Alright so I almost didnt post the following because frankly I didnt think it was too interesting. I mean I had fun doing it all but does it make for a good read? I decided I may as well because on my way home I bumped into a mate and we got to talking about long weekends - he said he drank around 12 beers a day for four days. It made me think. So did I. I think its the Australian way. I mean cmon - who can say that they didnt use the three day weekend to go out and get loose once? Shit, you probably went and got loose twice. So here are a few photo's - hope you like them.

Friday started like this - Dump-a-rings!

I went home after this cos I was lucky enough to working on Saturday. Thats right. Work. I made up for it thought by being hung over but all this really did was hurt me.
Saturday I went to a party with Bootsy Collins




I thought the glasses were a bit much but look how they paid off - Damn Bootsy!




A lot of other shit happened at this party but I wont go into it now. I got a free taxi ride home cos my card didnt work and I went to bed. I woke up a bit shabby but it was all good. I thought going to ikea might be a good idea. Wrong. After about 20 minutes of being there I had to resist the urge to punch people in the back of the head and push kids over. I mean look at this - the girl behind me had been in the store so long she started eating her hands!!!

I got my wok and broke out.

Back to the west side for food and drinks. Or was it just drinks?



This girl drank all this herself. I think she has a problem.



So that was about it. Looking back I really should have done something a bit more productive. Shit, I could have at least done something more interesting! But hey, its all good. Like I said - it was fun - if one person finds this interesting Im happy. I did take one good photo from the weekend though

Long Weekend

MLT

Alright so a bit of filler this week cos the party's I thought were on this week are actually on NEXT weekend. The high point of the weekend though was spending the day driving the Big Boys explorer around all day listening to the Cool Kids with the Big Boy and the Urinator. For those that dont know - here is what a Ford Explorer looks like.

Good times. In fact such good times we celebrated with MLT (meat loaf time).

This is basically my nerve center. This is pretty much the rest of my year planned out on my coffee table. Crazy. I feel like its going to be a great fucking year if I can just be patient.....

MLT

I did it again....

Saturday was a good one...mostly. Things happened. Good times were had. It all started with the Appleton Festival which was held in a backyard in Thornbury. Some good bands, some shit bands, and this guy - Mr Outward Obtooce.

















He spits hot fire!!


From then I made a hasty exit to the sunny west side for Briony's Birthday drinks. Shes old now. Thats her back left.





When I got inside I was greeted by some unsavory characters mixing drinks. Good times.



There was food. It was good.


Josh liked it.

He really liked it.





I wasnt impressed with his lack of respect for corn. What would the Indians say?





From here I headed to the city to see the Cool Kids. I had been looking forward to this all week.
But then it happened............





After a couple of these my recollections of the evening turn hazy. I was there for the Cool Kids - I know cos I got the photos - but like I said its all a bit hazy.





Jmery was there too. If you read this Jmery thanks for the drinks and putting up with my shit and telling you to "check my blog out man!"



After the Cool Kids I walked home. I bumped into more shady characters. This guy wanted some change. No dice.



Apparently I did this too - I wonder where it was?



Needless to say I felt like shit on Sunday. But what can you do. Till next week. I will leave you with a song - I cant remember the first time I herd this but it kills me every time.

I did it again....

The Future is now?

Thats right. Here it is. This weekend it is fucking on! Anyone who doesent know better should be heading to Miss Libertines to catch these guys....




so cool... as well as this Mr Outward Obtooce is playing some where in the Fitzroy area, then Sunday (if I can handle it) is the Sydney Road festival. Can you say hung over on Monday? I sure can.
